How It Works

A Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Your 80% Frame or Receiver

Step 1: Choose Your Frame or Receiver

Select the 80% frame or receiver you want from our catalog. We offer options for Glock-style pistols, AR-15/AR-10 rifles, SIG frames, and AR-9 lowers. All products are partially completed and not classified as firearms under federal law.

Step 2: Gather Your Tools & Accessories

Depending on your chosen frame, you may need basic tools or a build kit. We also offer Gun Build Kits which include jigs, drills, and instructions for first-time builders.

Step 3: Complete the Frame

Using a jig and your tools, finish the remaining machining to make the frame or receiver functional. This step is where the frame transitions from 80% to fully usable. Always follow safety precautions.

Step 4: Assemble Your Firearm

Install your chosen parts—slide, barrel, trigger, and other components—to complete your build. Ensure all parts are compatible with your frame type and local laws.

Step 5: Test & Enjoy

Once assembled, safely test your firearm according to all local and federal regulations. Enjoy your custom-built pistol or rifle!

Important: Polymer 80 products are legal under federal law but always check your state and local regulations before purchasing or building. Use safe handling practices at all times.
